We both use Linux and my wife want to use Youdao dictionary. I follow your steps 1 to 5 and have the deb: youdao-dict_1.1.0-0~ubuntu_amd64.deb in my youdaobuild folder. When I install this using Software Manager nothing happens, it is not installed. Instead it just returns to install again. If I install from terminal it install with dependency problems. sudo apt-get install -f then removes youdao.
